HLB Events SA’s T&Cs:
1. Responsibility and Care
- As per our rental agreement, the client is responsible for the care and safekeeping of all rented items from the time of delivery until they are returned.
2. Damaged or Lost Items
- The client is liable for any loss or damage to items during the rental period.
3. Inspection of Items
- All items are thoroughly inspected before delivery, and any pre-existing damage or defects are noted. If no issues are reported at the time of delivery, the items are considered in good condition.
4. Deposit
- A refundable fee of R500-R1000 is required to secure your booking, depending on the value of the items rented. The refundable deposit will be returned in full, provided that all rented items are in good condition upon return.
5. Booking Security
- The refundable deposit guarantees your booking. However, this deposit does not cover breakage fees. If damage costs exceed the deposit, the client will be required to pay the remaining balance for repairs or replacements.
6. Refund Policy
- No refunds are issued for items that have been delivered or collected. If you cancel your booking, the refundable fee will be forfeited, but the booking can be rescheduled depending on availability.
7. Return Conditions
- A R150 cleaning fee will be deducted from your refundable fee if the returned crockery or cutlery is found to be dirty.
8. Liability
- The company is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the use or possession of rented items. The client agrees to indemnify and hold the company harmless from any claims resulting from the use of the rented items.
9. Booking
- Booking is essential to secure your event date.
- Booking in advance is essential, a minimum of 2 weeks notice
